Our Family Legacy
The Powder Lab is a family-owned powder coating and sandblasting shop based in Goodrich, MI, run by Dave and Noah shell. We're built on a simple idea: do the work other shops won't, and do it right. Most powder coaters stick to single-color jobs because multi-color and two-tone work is harder to get right — it takes more setup, more masking, and more attention to detail. That's exactly the work we specialize in. If you've got a complex project — a two-tone wheel set, a multi-step color job, a part nobody else wants to touch — that's what we're here for. We're a certified Prismatic Powders applicator, and we handle sandblasting and chemical stripping in-house, so every project is under our control from bare metal to final finish.
We're the proud powder coating partner of Meyer Racing, competing on the Amsoil Snocross circuit. Seeing our finishes perform on a race sled is the best proof we have that our coatings hold up under real abuse.
